December 6

The Big O (April 23, 1936 – December 6, 1988)

The DAVE CLARK FIVE were The BEATLES' biggest British Invasion rivals before the STONES came along.  Singer Mike Smith  (6 December 1943 – 28 February 2008) died on February 28, 2008, just 11 days before his induction to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

One hit wonder?

JONATHAN KING was much more than that.  His biggest hit came when he was an undergraduate at the University of Cambridge in 1965.

Jonathan would go on to become a record executive- he signed the band GENESIS in 1967 and produced their first album two years later.

He would also work with 10cc, The BAY CITY ROLLERS and law enforcement when he was imprisoned on child sex charges from 2001-2005.
