February 13



Sadly, only two of the DAVE CLARK FIVE are still with us.  Bass player Rick Huxley (2nd from left) passed away at 72 after a battle with emphysema.

The DC5 followed The BEATLES to America in 1964, fueling the British Invasion in the States.

Although he's been battling cancer since 2009, PETER TORK is still monkeying around at 71.

Peter got the job on the TV show when producers asked STEPHEN STILLS if he had a better looking musician friend.

Stephen was not hired for The MONKEES and we never heard from him again.
