January 3

Legendary BEATLES producer George Martin is 86 today.

There's no doubt the band was talented, but would they have been the same without Sir George?

At a ROLLING STONES gig in South London January 3, 1964, The Detours were the opening act.

They would later change their name to The WHO.

Before joining CROSBY, STILLS and NASH, Stephen Stills (b 1/3/1945) was a member of BUFFALO SPRINGFIELD.
